Doubt is one of our biggest enemies.

Doubt in ourselves. In our abilities. In who we are. In what we can achieve.

Doubt can destroy us as a person, as individuals.

We can become so cowed with doubts that we freeze, we become afraid to try anything new. We are progressively pre-programming ourselves to failure.

The crushing impact of Doubt can ruin our lives.

Many thousands of people try to lose weight, to get fitter, to master some skill, to create a business either online or in bricks and mortar.

We may make a start.

But then after a few weeks or months, the dreaded disease sets in.

No, I cannot do that.

I have tried and got nowhere.

Maybe it’s my fate.

It’s not for me.

I am just Mr. or Mrs. average.

I am not smart enough.

I do not have the gift.

If we have not started we do not even rise to the occasion and give it a go.

And if we have started we stop!

Statistics indicate that less than 5% of people that start a business online give it a real go. They buy expensive courses; they start the programme and give up.

Of all businesses, the online business is the easiest to start. It can be set up for a few dollars compared to a traditional bricks and mortar business. You can do it in your own time.

You can run it in parallel with your normal ‘work’, if employed until you gain the traction to give up the “grind” job and move on to what you might really like to do.

Now, when I say easiest I do not mean that it will just take off like a train. Well, not for most people anyway. It could take a year for your business to become well known and established.

A year of constant marketing and effort.

But keep at it and you will find things start moving.

It’s all about changing that destructive mindset.

Abandon doubt and grasp your opportunities.

Hey, Ash, you have some great points here. Yes, I have let doubt get the best of me for too many years. This year, is different. While doubt will undoubtedly (no pun intended) try to sneak back, I will do all I can to stop it from taking hold! Thanks for the reminder!

        Thanks for your comments James.
Sorry for the delay in replying, I have been engaged in writing course on Quality Assurance and Control. However, it is finished now and I will be making more posts soon.

Just having a look at your website.
